We Serve Options
That was a slogan used by Dining Services at CWU when I was there. Last night we served tacos. So you walk in and the first question is crunchy or soft. You say soft so the next question is corn or flour. You think it’s over when you say flour. But you are wrong. You hear small or large. By this time you’re about ready to leave and go somewhere that just serves “food.”
It’s a good thing the tacos are worth the interrogation. This has been proven since A&V came over on Saturday and had the chicken ones. Then they came back last night and Alex had the turkey version.
Everyone we see on a regular basis (minus Ben and Sam) was at our house. That morning J.P. called and left voice messages for Jeremy, Tom, and Aaron. He then asked me to invite Alex and Victoria over to see the red wall. I was sure Alex would give me crap about not having good parking, but instead I got a quick answer of yes.
That is where it all began. Then Jeremy called. He was in the neighborhood and wanted to drop by. He showed up and soon after Bill and Gina came over. They left and Jeremy and J.P. went Everett. By the time they got back A&V were there. Additionally, he said Aaron and Amanda were on their way over.
Jeremy left in the early evening. We made tacos for the four of us. Then Aaron and Amanda showed up. Soon after that Tom arrived. We were wondering if we could have invited more people and had them show up.
So I guess we’re now an official party spot. At least when we serve tacos...
