We’ve been busy with house stuff.  I’d like to report that we’ve done lots of painting and arranging.  Instead we’ve been under construction again.  About a week ago we got flooded.

I put towels in the washer, closed the bathroom door and went downstairs.  A few minutes later I yelled up at J.P. thinking he was making some odd noise.  Then I noticed water coming out of the fire sprinkler.  I got a bucket and yelled up at J.P. to come down.  By then it was coming out of the track lighting hole and running down the track to drop on the table.

We went upstairs and found out that there was half an inch of water in the bathroom.  I called the emergency number and they sent Dave over.  He and J.P. figured out that the washer dial was in-between medium and large.  The washer didn’t know when to stop filling so it just kept going.

Anyway, we were boiling for a couple days while the place dried out.  Now they are fixing the areas that got water soaked.  In a couple weeks we should be back to what was normal around here.
